Leafs on a meadow where winds cannot reach
Clouds floating deeper with light in the breach
I feel my roots finding solace in rain
Natures demanding resisting the strain
Under my feet there is grass tenderly
I bend my steps towards an old memory
Nocturnal creatures awake, blackbirds hush
As the sun’s going down and the path emerged clear
Through the night, vivid light
Coral red and lilac the letters shine
From the hight smoothing sight
Sending my tin soldiers in the fight
Through darkness and shadows, the velvet embrace
Twigs with their moss stroking gentle the face
Evening falls silent with drops blue and cold
Leaving the place where the souls have been sold
Like even stones have to follow the flood
I make my way, great steps covered in mud
Behind the hills and through air thick as glass
Under bridges of sand, where secret shallows lie
Winter pale, lift the veil
Under beauty rages the breath of live
Like they drown, take the crown
Frozen king under the mountain
Cold deep down
